Marian Mcloughlin, lovely woman. London Irish, actress and a pure delight. I saw her the other day on TV in ' New Tricks.

I was not long back from Berlin, finally split from Eva, and went for a drink with Glynne (below) his girlfriend Irene and her friend, Marian. We hit it off.

The first time we met she was wearing a top with a huge roaring tiger on it. As she told me at the time she hadn't shaved her legs because she was determined not to sleep with this friend of Glynne's who, I assume had 'bigged me up'. We still ended up in bed together but spent a chaste night.

 One of the funniest, most delightful and generous people I've met. She introduced me to her friend (above) who was a tour director. She got me an interview with Colin Aldgate who ran Globus Gateway and Cosmos. I got a job and for nearly ten years I was wealthy and travelled all over the British Isles.

I was quite an arsehole with Marian. I realised later that I took a lot out on her that was left over from my relationship with Eva. I treated her very casually.

As I said, lovely woman.
