Peter Startup organised for me to spend a summer stone carving in Cornwall. I lasted two days, then decided to build a hut in this little cove near Worth Matravers, I think. I liked it and it lasted years and was used by a local fisherman to store stuff. I was told that other huts were built near it.

The second hut I built was at Climping. We went there to make work outside and I went off into the dunes to make a ritual type place. On the last day I asked the others to come and destroy it. When they arrived with the huge log it was perfect.
