Okay, so we have a bit of an Indian take-away, here, dare I say a more 'playful' piece. It was supposed to have a child-like quality and be part of the collective. By that I mean these are a collection and operate as an ensemble.

The blue piece was on the opposite wall to the other, with the three running down the conjoining wall.

The blue piece was the last, the colour very deep. The top is made from casting clay I'd pressed objects into, a contrast to the sensual smoothness of the panel. They were all made like that but this image shows it a bit more clearly.

I mentioned I sold two pieces. Eva brought along a couple of journalist freinds who got caught up in the excitement and wrote me cheques on the spot. Afterwards they went to Soho to celabrate. Their bar bill in one place was over £1000, in 1979. In another establishment one of them said to an Australian bar maid, 'Let me take you away from all this'. She said 'okay', took off her apron and left with him. He booked in to a Hotel and, as far as I know, was never seen again. After a couple of weeks I resold the piece he'd bought to someone else, after cashing his cheque, of course.
