I can't remember if these had titles or not. The flags in the centre say 'Sweet dreams', down the left and 'Bad memories' down the right. The background is a map of Ireland. A strange coincidence, we had an open studio exhibition and one of the first artists into Acre Road showed large paintings with the same navel flags covering the surface a la Jasper Johns, decoded they spelt out the words of songs by people like Bob Dylan |
